Tracey N was the best instructor for my energetic 3 year old son. He absolutely hated lessons at the beginning but by week 2 was starting to get a rhythm down and trust in his teacher. Tracey taught him well and I have faith now that in a survival situation, he could float and/or get to the wall until someone got to him.
