Rowen used his ISR Skills when it mattered most, overcame several challenges, and saved his own life. Nothing motivates us more than hearing from families like Rowen's.
"We are thankful to have our little man Rowen with us tonight. This little guy has burned through more lives in his short 2 years on earth so far! Our older son Soren, and I found him floating in the pool this afternoon!! The dog started barking and tipped us off. We were in the backyard doing a photo shoot and he was playing with the dog and running around. Rowen squeezed through part of our pool fence that was not secured all the way. You could here a pin drop out there and we never heard him fall in the pool. Never even saw the water ripple. Not sure how long he had been in there but it was under 5 minutes. The water was cold about 49 degrees he never cried or screamed for help. Soren jumped in the deep end to rescue him. It was nice here this afternoon so he was actually playing outside in his underwear. We thank God for https://www.facebook.com/ISRSelfRescue Rowen learned how to self rescue at age 1 years old by flipping to his back and floating till someone found him. He would not be with us tonight if he did not take that class. He was very cold and scared. We took him to the ER to be checked out. He had the onset of hypothermia so they used warming blankets to get his body temp back and took X-rays for his lungs. Almost 5 hours later we are finally home. I can't stress the lessons enough no matter where you live in the USA!! Thanks ISR, thanks his teacher Colleen Haas, and our dog Cooper, and Soren for jumping in and thanks to his guardian angel.
